Delivery Policy


Thanks for shopping at bitter/sweet.

  1. Delivery charges are based on regional postcodes from our studio in Petaling Jaya.
  2. Deliveries are managed by third party riders. Delivery areas include specific areas in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
  3. Clients in apartments, shopping malls and office buildings are advised to collect their order from the rider at the entrance of the building. 


Delivery period and self pick-up time slots

Clients are to pick their desired delivery period upon their order form on Whipped.

Once order is confirmed, be advised that you have understood and accepted the conditions of Bitter/sweet’s and Whipped’s delivery and payment terms below.


Delivery terms

  • Delivery services are managed by third party vendors such as Lalamove, Grab and Goget etc 
  • For apartments, shopping malls and office buildings, please ensure that there is a recipient to collect the order at the main entrance of the building 
  • Bitter/sweet and Whipped will not be held liable for any damages that may occur during the delivery process
  • Once the cake has been delivered, Bitter/sweet and Whipped will not accept any liability for any damages to the order or for any failure to follow instructions provided
  • For self-pick up orders, Bitter/sweet and Whipped will not be held liable for any damages to the orders once it has left our studio


Same day order terms

  • Same day delivery will be open for order until 11am on business days only (Tue to Sat), and orders will be delivered from 3pm onwards
  • Bitter/sweet and Whipped reserve the right to cancel the order if the above terms are not followed
  • Same day orders which have not been paid for within 30 mins will be deemed cancelled without prior notice


Payment terms

  • Orders which have not been paid for within 24 hours will be deemed cancelled without prior notice (except same day orders, please read above)
  • All sales are final and non-refundable in cash. In the event of cancellation, we will refund the amount paid in the form of in-store credits for your next purchase, no bank transfer will be allowed. In-store credits will be valid up to 3 months from cancellation 
  • No photos or videos will be provided during cake production as it will disrupt the work flow and progress 


Storage and consumption 

  • Bitter/sweet and Whipped products are best consumed within 48 hours from collection and/or delivery
  • All products need to be refrigerated. Upon serving, products are to be rested in room temperature for 10-30 minutes depending on the dessert
  • Depending on product, Please read ‘Care Card’ attached to packaging to best handle the dessert
